Lighthouse Institute

is a premiere Leadership Development Company, founded in the early 2000’s by Tim Rhoades. With a mission to help people know their purpose, understand who they are as leaders and serve those they lead or follow with vision and compassion, Lighthouse has been able to partner with some amazing organizations. We are people focused, not employee focused. Lighthouse targets the core of the organization by targeting the core of the individual and utilizing a whole-person approach. If we can help people become better, more efficient, highly effective humans and therefore leaders, they will naturally be better employees.

I joined Lighthouse in 2019 and assisted in our adaptation through the pandemic, including co-creating the official Lighthouse Model of Leadership that now allows for a more specific language, clear learning outcomes and measurable behaviors. Our flagship product is the Leadership Series, where cohorts of participants are given 65 hours of training with a Lighthouse facilitator, exploring and unpacking our Model of Leadership. It is an experiential and transformative process intentionally focused on self-reflection as participants contemplate how they want to show up and lead, personally and professionally. 

I became Chief Operating Officer of Lighthouse Institute in 2023. In addition to speaking, facilitating training and coaching individuals, I handle the majority of our business development and operations. I am responsible for aligning our team members with the appropriate resources and engagements while ensuring that we continue to meet the expectations of our client partners.
